Ripstop is a cotton fabric woven with a small, raised grid that gives a cap a rugged, outdoorsy texture. Our Woodsman Cap in ripstop is a favorite with our wholesale customers, and shops and decorators reorder it in bulk. Our ripstop cap styles
We make ripstop in two flat-brim snapback styles:
- The Woodsman. A tough, outdoor-ready flat brim with a rope across the front: Olive Ripstop with a cream rope, Bone Ripstop, an off-white, and Blue Gray Ripstop. Teal Gray Ripstop is currently out of stock.
- The Gym Teacher. Inspired by the old coach's hat, with a flat brim, no rope and a clean, throwback look: Pitch Black Ripstop.

Why ripstop caps sell
- The grid texture looks rugged and outdoorsy, so it fits outdoor brands, fly and surf shops, breweries, farms and work crews.
- Earthy colors like olive, bone and blue gray stand out next to the usual black and navy blanks.
- The rope on the Woodsman adds a retro detail without making the cap busy, so a simple logo still reads clearly.
- You can mix the rope and no-rope styles in the same fabric to offer two looks.
How they fit
Every Lemon cap is one size with an adjustable plastic snapback, so you don't have to stock a size run. The crown is medium-stiff and mid-height, and most people wear it on the second or third snap. For more detail, see how a snapback should fit and our FAQs.
Decorating ripstop caps
The front panel takes embroidery, patches, screen print and DTG. As with any blank, test the exact fabric before a big run. Wholesale pricing
Blank caps are priced by the total number of caps in the order, and you can mix ripstop caps with any of our other styles and colors, including corduroy, rope and trucker caps:
- 12 to 143 caps: $6.95 per cap
- 144 to 499 caps: $6.25 per cap
- 500 to 999 caps: $5.75 per cap
- 1,000+ caps: $5.25 per cap
The minimum is 12 caps. Wholesale orders ship free in the US and leave our warehouse in 1 to 2 business days. Decorated orders are quoted separately.
