Rope hats are back. That little braided cord across the front of the brim is a throwback to old golf and trucker caps, and it's one of the easiest ways to make a logo cap look like something people actually want to wear. If you decorate hats for customers, run a shop, or sell merch for a brand, here's a quick guide to our blank rope caps and how wholesale ordering works.
Our rope cap styles
We carry rope on three of our styles, each in a few soft, faded colors you won't see on every other rack:
- The Concert Cap. A flat brim rope cap in twill or corduroy: light navy with a white rope, snow with a blue rope, seafoam with a navy rope, and corduroy in mint and deep teal, both with a white rope.
- The Woodsman. Rope on ripstop, a tougher, outdoorsy fabric: bone, olive with a cream rope, and blue gray with a white rope. Teal Gray Ripstop is currently out of stock.
- The Country Cousin. Tiger camo twill with a rope, for hunting, fishing and outdoor brands that want camo with a retro twist.

Why rope caps sell
- The rope adds a second color without a second decoration step, so a one-color logo still looks finished.
- They have a vintage, laid-back look that works for breweries, bands, golf courses, coffee shops and outdoor brands alike.
- They stand out on a merch wall next to the usual dad hats and trucker caps.
How they fit
Every Lemon cap is one size with an adjustable plastic snapback, so you don't have to stock a size run. Our corduroy caps run a little bigger than the twill and ripstop ones. For crown height and fit details, see how a snapback should fit and our FAQs.
Decorating rope caps
The front panel takes embroidery, patches, screen print and DTG. Most decorators keep the logo centered above the rope so it stays clear of the brim. Wholesale pricing
Blank caps are priced by the total number of caps in the order, and you can mix styles and colors:
- 12 to 143 caps: $6.95 per cap
- 144 to 499 caps: $6.25 per cap
- 500 to 999 caps: $5.75 per cap
- 1,000+ caps: $5.25 per cap
The minimum is 12 caps. Wholesale orders ship free in the US and leave our warehouse in 1 to 2 business days. Decorated orders are quoted separately.
